Givefunla

It’s always fun to see friends wearing the wedding cloth(tradition Chinese style or western in church) as you usually see him wear T-shirt and short pant everyday, haha. He lives in a new public estate in Tin Shui Wai, so new that we can’t find on map(it only show Public Housing under construction). Since Risto is our friend so we don’t have much stress and just have fun on that day.

The Church wedding of Kathy & Risto started at 4pm, another HDV editing challenge! BTW, Risto’s colleague William is the photographer on their big day.

This is the same day edit and the song was chosen by Risto & Kathy together.

They choose Martin Studio to be their wedding day photographer.

We really like their traffic arrangement. Karen & Sam were in the same coach with all bridesmaids and groomsmen. They chose to stay and have fun with friends and make us feel intimately. Lawrence is their photographer. Here is the same day edit.

It’s lucky that the storm arrived at the day after we came back from UK so our flight was not affected so we can back in time to shoot the wedding of Mandy & Meng. 

It’s lucky that the weather became better on their big day. There was still raining in the morning. The rain stop in the afternoon and we can see the sunlight through the stained glass in the church! Shooting this wedding was feel like we’re not back to HK cause Meng & his family are English speakers. He always kiss Mandy without asking from the photographers. We always think people should enjoy their wedding and relax. We also like the song they choose for the same day edit.

It’s lucky that we have chance to work with two HK famous wedding photographers together in one wedding. Lawrence Tsang & Simonthephoto -  we have worked with them before individually. But this time, we work along side with BOTH of them together in ONE wedding. You can always learn a lot from those masters. Lawrence’s team are always helpful specially I’m shooting alone. With their friendly reminder, our blog has not been update for a long time(Yeah! they read our blog!) and we shall do it more frequently(we’ll try our best).

Why everything is so lucky? Maybe Luckymui is here, haha. Think positive!

The bride used to live in Hong Kong so we don’t have communication problem. It was a cloudy and rainy day. Luckily the rain is not heavy.

Photographer Bob come up an idea to put the wedding grown outside.

The B&B is a beautiful place. 2 swan always swim to us for food.

The guest are all sitting on the straw bales.

This is the first time I see a large tractor. It is use for transporting the people between the ceremony & reception place.

After the ceremony, the groom drove the boat himself.

Bob took some photos for Ethan before the Lunch in Excel. We also make a short clip with my small videocam.

This time we go to London by BA. This is the first time we arrived at the new Terminal 5. No problem with our luggage.

Denise & Eddie bring us to a restaurant close to Excel where we can see their home and the Millennium Dome!

We have lunch in a “Palace”. The food is good and taste like Hong Kong.

Last year we came to London, we knew that Denise was pregnant. Now, baby Ethan is born and active! Our photographer took some photos of this handsome devil - Ethan.

This is VRE Team!

VRE Team is formed with a group of experience editors and videographers and start video production from May 07 to provide service for photographers / co-operator only.

Relationship between VRE team and Givefunla

In the past years, Givefunla used to accept some co-operated photographers order to provide economic video production.

However, As Luckmui@ Givefunla wish to concentrate in the video production that she like the unique fun and blissful style mostly, So Givefunla make decision not to accept those photographe’s order from May 07.

To consider about the request of the photographer Givefunla used to co-operated before, Luckymui@Givefunla trainned some editors and contact more videographers to keep running of the photographer’s video production.

Therefore all of the video production order from the photographers used to co-operate with Givefunla before are now handling by VRE team and it has been run for some days already. And some of the photographers keep referring clients to contact Givefunla directly for advance video production.

During year end of 07, Luckymui@Givefunla still keep an eye on the quality of VRE production to ensure it can hit the standard of the photographer’s budget and quality.

And Givefunla cerebrate for the independence of VRE team in April 2008!

(and Luckymui are more than happy to have much time to develop new ideas and have rest! yeah! )

This is our last order in Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. We’ll miss the interior decoration, furniture, elevator and painting. The building is redeveloping now. They scheduled to reopen the hotel in year 2010 at Kowloon side. Hope they will still provide the mint.
